Donald J. Thompson, 64, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 4:15 P.M. January 19, 2018 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was bornJune 20, 1953 in Washington D.C. to the late William R. and Elizabeth (Perry) Thompson.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Ronald Lash officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Memorials may be made in Donald’s honor to Wounded Warriors or Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
