Dale Lynford Bohlen, 94, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 10:52 A.M. January 24, 2018 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor. He was bornFebruary 18, 1923 in Danville, Iowa to the late Henry and Marie (Barklage) Bohlen. Dale married Pauline G. (Clark) Bohlen on December 31, 1941 in Burlington, Iowa. They were blessed with 72 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on July 23, 2014.

Dale’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service: Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Logan Street Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Brother Alan Smith officiating.  Interment: Union Chapel Cemetery in Texico, Illinois.
