Robert E. Fuller, Sr., 74, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 11:00 pm June 1, 2022 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

He was born February 17, 1948 in Woodlawn to the late Fred and Lora (Owens) Fuller. Robert married Joyce Ann (Fairchild) Fuller on October 28, 1968 in Boyd, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly 52 years of marriage before her passing on September 6, 2020.  Robert is survived by his sons, Robert E. Fuller, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Troy, Missouri and Mark Fuller and wife, Renee of Highland, Illinois; granddaughters, Cassie Fuller and Kelly Fuller, both of Highland, Illinois; brother, Donald Fuller of Carmi, Illinois; and sister, Wanda Terhune and husband, Dave of Mount Vernon, Illinois. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Casada. Robert worked as a welder for many years. He was also a heavy equipment operator in his spare time. Robert could often be found going to auctions or tinkering on old equipment. He enjoyed old cars and motorcycles, as well. Most of all, Robert cherished the time he shared with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving family man and a faithful Christian. He attended Fouts Christian Church. Robert will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Waltonville, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Mr. Marty Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Knob Prairie Cemetery in Waltonville, Illinois.
