The Illinois Department of Transportation would like to alert motorists traveling on Illinois 15 between Woodlawn and Ashley in Jefferson County of an upcoming road closure

At 6pm, today, Friday, Dec. 1st, replacement of a box culvert located on Illinois 15, 1.3 miles west of Woodlawn Lane near Woodlawn, will begin. Work is expected to be complete by 6am, Monday, December 4th.

Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
