(CARBONDALE, IL) — One of four suspects involved in the 2016 Easter shooting death of a local Carbondale musician has pleaded guilty.  21-year-old Dwayne John Dunn Jr. of St. Louis has been pleaded guilty for reckless discharge of a weapon.  That charge is considered a class 4 felony offense.  Exactly one year after Tim Beaty died after being shot in his sleep, Dunn was sentenced at the Jackson County Circuit Court on Monday.  He was charged with firing a handgun into the air one night in Carbondale on March 27th 2016 in a populated neighborhood.  His felony carries a maximum penalty of 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections with a year of mandatory supervised release, or up to 30 months of probation.  His scheduled sentencing hearing is set for May 24th at 10:30 am.
