Vandalia, IL. – State Senator Kyle McCarter will be coming to Salem to discuss the stop-gap budget, economic renewal in Illinois, and its effect on local constituents. These and other topics are the focus of a Town Hall in Salem on Monday. Topics for Town Hall include 2016 legislative activity, the state budget process and pending reforms to make state government more accountable and improve the business/jobs climate. A question and answer session is also planned. After the event, there is an opportunity to meet directly with Sen. McCarter and office personnel. The event will be held at 5 p.m. at the Marion County Bank Annex Building in Salem.
