Ronald D. Weisbecker, age 76 of Mt. Vernon, IL passed away 4:45 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon. A memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Southwest Christian Church, 901 South 34th Street in Mt. Vernon with Larry “Papa Smurf” Harrison former Chaplain of the KingServants Chapter officiating. Interment of his cremains will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in rural Jefferson County. The family will receive friends at the Southwest Christian Church in Mt. Vernon on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.
