(East St. Louis, IL) — An East St. Louis school is receiving nearly five-million-dollars in federal money. Gordon Bush Elementary was one of five schools selected by the Illinois State Board of Education to receive School Improvement Grants over five years. The funds will be used to begin programs focused on improving student success and college readiness.
