(MARION, IL) — Williamson County Coroner Junior Burke says a 51-year-old Marion man was pronounced dead at 11:45 last night at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion due to injuries he received after being struck by a vehicle. The accident happened around 10:18 p.m. in the eastbound lane of Route 13 in the 1700 block of West DeYoung Street in Marion. The accident is currently under investigation by the coroner’s office and the Marion Police Department. No further information is available at this time.
