Kaskaskia College is excited to announce it will once again be hosting Explore KC Day on Friday, April 4. The event gives high school students an opportunity to learn more about what KC has to offer, meet with faculty, take tours of campus and hear directly from current students in a Q&A panel. High schoolers across the district are starting to make their higher education plans during spring, and students benefit from getting a firsthand look at campus while hearing from peers about college life.
Explore KC Day starts at 8 a.m., and students are welcome to bring family members to the event. Breakfast, lunch and swag bags with KC gear will be provided. For more information on Explore KC Day and to register go to: https://www.jotform.com/220524600160136.
One of the most popular features of Explore KC Day is the Q&A panel, where attendees will hear from six current KC students discussing college life from a peer-to-peer angle.
Explore KC Day differs from many other open houses because students actually get an in-depth look at oncampus programs. When registering, students will get to choose three different programs of interest to explore while on campus, which includes meeting with professors and seeing demonstrations in classrooms.
