Willie H. Smith, 85, of Woodlawn, Illinois passed away at 5:56 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at his residence in Woodlawn, Illinois. He was born Thursday, February 26, 1931 in West Virginia to parents, Golden Garfield and Nellie (Coleman) Smith, Sr. He married Arlene (Clark) Smith on March 28, 2004 at Mount Catherine Church in Woodlawn, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Jack Kurrelmeyer officiating. The Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 will conduct a Flag Presentation at the end of service.  Interment will be at Evergreen Park Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.   For those who wish, memorials may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Masonic Home and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O.
