(MARION, IL) — A Johnston City man, charged with aggravated robbery in the Dec. 20 armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store on North Carbon Street in Marion, plead not guilty on the charge Monday in Williamson County Court. According to court records, 25-year-old Callie Buchanan led police on a short pursuit with an infant in the vehicle following the robbery, and then tried to flee on foot after the chase ended in the Johnston City area. If convicted, Buchanan faces a minimum sentence of five years in prison. Buchanan’s jury trial is set for March 13 in Williamson County.
