(Collinsville, IL) — A traffic stop in Madison County is resulting in multiple felony charges against an Arizona man. Jesus Duarte has been charged with four counts, including unlawful cannabis trafficking. Duarte was stopped by an Illinois State trooper last month on Interstate 55 when the U-Haul he was driving swerved a couple of times. His nervous behavior prompted a request for a K-9 unit, a search of the truck found about 175 pounds of pot. Duarte was booked into the Madison County Jail and faces up to 30 years in prison on each charge.
