Michael L. Keip, 60, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 4:05 A.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born Thursday, April 26, 1956 in Mendota, Illinois to parents, Paul Gaylord Keip and Freda Lois (Bean) Branch.  A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Randy Hayes officiating.  A Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  For those who wish, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O.
