(MURPHYSBORO, IL) — Masonic Children’s Homes throughout Illinois may soon close their doors. The home base in Murphysboro has provided a safe environment for disadvantaged children for more than a decade. The children’s home in La Grange Illinois is also facing closure. The Illinois Grand Masonic Lodge will be the one to decide if the homes will be closed down. An official statement has not been released by the organization at this time.
