(Carbondale, IL)  —  A search is underway to find the person suspected of attempted sexual assault and battery earlier this month in Carbondale.  Police say officers responded to a report of an attack the morning of October 2nd in the twelve-hundred block of East Grand Avenue.  Authorities posted surveillance videos online showing a man they believe is the suspect.
