(Maryland Heights, MO)  —  Contract talks between Schnucks Markets and the United Food and Commercial Workers local union are expected to continue this week.  The union members recently rejected a contract offer from Schnucks.  By rejecting the offer, the union members authorized a strike, but the union is hoping a deal can be reached before its members would go on strike. According to their website, Schnucks has 35 locations in Illinois including Centralia and Carbondale.
