A Marion County judge has denied pretrial release for 23 year old Zykevious D Burnett of Calumet City, charged in a sexual assault at Point Park in Centralia. Police say Burnett assaulted an 18 year old woman after driving her to the park and making repeated unwanted advances before attacking her. He faces charges including criminal sexual abuse by force and aggravated battery involving strangulation, and is scheduled back in court May 7.
