(MT. VERNON, IL) –Two 17-year-old Mt. Vernon juveniles were injured in a single car wreck on Richview Road east of Woodlawn Road around 6:15 p.m. Saturday. Jefferson Rural Fire Personnel say the vehicle had run off the road down an embankment. One juvenile was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, while the other was transported by air to a St. Louis hospital for treatment.
