MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon is partnering with J&C E-Recycling of Belleville for an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, at 1201 Casey Avenue.
Accepted items include:
- Computer towers, parts, and accessories
- Cell phones and battery backups
- Printers, power supplies, and electronic motors
- Hard drives, mice, and keyboards
- Laptops, speakers, and modems
- DVD/VHS players and small appliances
- Lawn tools, lawnmowers, microwaves, and more
The recycler can accept up to two televisions per household.
Light bulbs, smoke detectors, propane tanks, and carbon dioxide detectors will not be accepted.
