(Fairmont City, IL)  —  The last National City Stock Yards building near East St. Louis is being torn down.  The old Armour packing plant is located on Fairmont City Boulevard in Fairmont City.  The plant has been closed since the late 1950s.  No word yet on what might become of the site.
