(MT. VERNON, IL) — United Methodist Children’s Home has named John Shadowens as their new President and CEO. The Marion resident was a previous program director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Illinois. UMCH will be holding a community reception to welcome Shadowens on Monday December 14th from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Youth Services Building Conference Center on the UMCH Campus.
