(Christopher, IL) — Funeral services will be held this week for the former police chief of a southern Illinois town. Jim Trogola served as Christopher’s top cop for close to 30 years. He died last Friday in a car crash. Trogola’s wake is scheduled for Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will be held at Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher.
