Rosalie Mahan, 77, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 12:04 am February 7, 2021 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. She was born December 26, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Nealy and Wanda (Whittington) Gant. Rosalie was married to Dale Mahan and he preceded her in death.

Rosalie is survived by her sons, Ricky Salinas of Houston, Texas, Robert Mahan and partner, Glen Hayes of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Lester “Guy” Mahan and wife, Stephanie of Bradenton, Florida; daughters, Gloria Jean Ramirez of Houston, Texas, Theresa Jane Rodriguez and husband, Rick of Houston, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Williams; one sister; and two brothers.

Rosalie retired after several years of being a registered nurse. She was a member of AA and very active for eleven years.

There will be no public services held. Memorials may be made in Rosalie’s honor to the charity of the donors choice.
