William “Bill” Everett McKinney, 72, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 11:47 am October 7, 2020 at his residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born February 26, 1948 in Jefferson County, Illinois to the late Everett Thomas and Bessie May (Foster) McKinney. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Union Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Tim Reynolds officiating. Full Military Rites will be held at the cemetery by Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141. Inurnment will follow. Memorials in Bill’s honor may be made to the McKinney family in care of Tim McKinney to be put towards a monument for Bill.Please remember to observe social distancing at this time.
