ELDORADO — Ferrell Hospital is resuming elective procedures and surgeries after the IDPH announced the resumption of these procedures statewide with new guidance.

Ferrell Hospital CEO Alisa Coleman says she understands residents’ hesitation to come back to a hospital during the pandemic, but Ferrell is doing everything they can to make the hospital safe for everyone.

Chief Nursing Officer Rachael Prather says the hospital has about a month of reserve PPE and other protective equipment, going beyond the state’s mandated two-week reserve for each hospital.
