The number of animals that need homes that are at the Washington County Animal Shelter has gone up in the past week, as 2 dogs were brought in, including a Brindle Cattledog mix and a spotted mutt. There have not been any cats a month now, so there are now 7 dogs at the shelter that need homes. Dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an A.V.I.D. Identification Chip. The shelter accepts aluminum cans for recycling to help pay for expenses of housing the cats and dogs. It is located at 17,990 Richview Road in Nashville.
