Ricky D. Heck, 65, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 11:57 pm January 23, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

He was born October 30, 1954 in Eagleville, Missouri to Gilbert and Kathy (Mays) Heck. Ricky married Beverly S. Crump on December 31, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with twenty-five years of marriage.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Masonic Service will begin at 8:00 P.M. with a Jefferson County Shrine Club walk through immediately following. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Benton Fitzjerrells and Reverend Frank Huston officiating. Full Military Rites will be conducted by the Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Entombment will follow.
