Robert L. Reu, 74, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 6:55 P.M.August 6, 2019 at SIH Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois. He was born September 20, 1944 in Centralia, Illinois to LeRoy and Anita (Reinhardt) Reu. Robert married Sharon (McClure) Reu on July 10, 1968 at Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon. They were blessed with 51 year of marriage.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Matthew Richardt officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Robert’s honor  to the Faith Lutheran Church.
