MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

19-year-old Collin Sechrest of Mt. Vernon was arrested Tuesday for escape of felon from penal institution.

43-year-old Christopher McBride of Dix was arrested Tuesday for criminal trespass to residence and on a bond forfeiture warrant.

57-year-old Robert Cates was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for possession of meth less than five grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.

26-year-old Joshua Campbell of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant.
