Kathy Lyn Wild, formerly Kathy Presley,67, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 12:30 P.M.July 19, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born March 9, 1952 in Carbondale, Illinois to the late Edward Lathan “Bang” and Norma Jean (Zuelke) Mitchell. She first married Danny Presley on December 12, 1970 in Herrin, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly 44 Years of marriage until he preceded her in death on October 6, 2014. She later married Steven “Steve” Wild on October 21, 2017.

A Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Parker and Bill Stendeback officiating. Memorials may be made to the Saint Jude Childrens Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
