David R. Lemmon, 70, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 2:01 A.M.June 6, 2019 at his residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was bornFebruary 16, 1949 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late James Lemmon and Helen Hutchcraft. David married Elizabeth “Libbye” Harrison on July 28, 1981 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly thirty-eight years of marriage.

Per Davids request a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of David’s memory, Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
