Barbara Bravard, 65, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 5:05 P.M. May 4, 2019 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born June 22, 1953 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Ralph Gerald Jay, Sr. and Helen Louise (Funkhouser) Jay. She first married Artie Karch. She later married Robert Bravard on November 17, 1995. They were blessed with 23 years of marriage.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Mark Minor officiating.  Interment will follow at Smith-Veterans Cemetery in Rural Jefferson County, Illinois.
