>>The Marion Police Department Narcotics Unit arrested a man on a drug charge following a traffic stop Tuesday near the intersection of DeYoung Street and Skyline Drive.
Police say 57-year-old Charles G. Hodge of Marion was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver after a narcotics investigation revealed that he was a distributor of meth.
Police searched Hodge’s vehicle and person following the traffic stop. Officers found him with 9 grams of crystal “ice” methamphetamine.
Hodge was taken to the Marion Police Department for processing. He is being held in the Williamson County Jail in Marion awaiting future court proceedings.
Police seized Hodge’s vehicle for asset forfeiture due to its role in aiding in the distribution of methamphetamine.
>>Marion Police arrested a Texas man Tuesday for an armed robbery in the 2100 block of West Main Street, Motel in Marion.
According to a Marion Police report, 36-year-old Cameron Adams was also additionally charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm and aggravated fleeing in an attempt to elude police officers.
Police say the victim was not injured in the robbery. Adams was apprehended following a brief search Tuesday.
