Herrin Police arrested and charged 37-year-old Curtis Holland of Cambria with aggravated battery following an alleged stabbing at the Mach 1 convenience store in Herrin early Sunday morning.

Police say they saw what happened and found a man suffering from a stab wound at the gas station around 1:30 a.m. The man was taken to a local hospital. He was later taken to another hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Holland was taken to the Williamson County Jail in Marion. Police say Holland had an outstanding arrest warrant.
