Walter H. Biri, 69, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 1:40 A.M. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Marion Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. He was born Saturday, December 6, 1947 in Menfro, Missouri to parents, Harold Edward and Nellis Marie (Marshall) Biri.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Veterans Cemetery in Belle Rive, Illinois with Chaplain Ernie Collins officiating. Interment will follow. Members of the Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 will conduct Full Military Honors at the cemetery.
A Visitation will be held Monday, February 13, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
