(MT. VERNON, IL) — The MVTHS Board of Education is scheduled to hold a closed session meeting today at 3:00pm in the MVTHS board room. The meeting agenda indicates the session will be for the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the district. This is the second closed meeting in a three week period regarding this topic. The last meeting held on Wednesday January 25th was often animated from the view out in the hallway, and after two hours in the board room, members of the board dispersed, tight-lipped, with many of them avoiding contact with the media and citizens awaiting any word that might come out of the session.
