(CENTRALIA, IL) — Three Centralia female juveniles are in the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Facility in Benton, facing multiple charges stemming from an alleged fight Friday night at the Family Dollar Store in Centralia. Centralia police say they have charged two 16-year-old females and one 13-year-old female with mob action, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery. The 13-year-old has also been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. According to reports, a Shandi Croff was shopping with her mom and dad at the store on North Elm Street Friday night when the juvenile females confronted her and wanted her to fight. One of the juveniles reportedly tried to spray Croff with pepper spray and instead sprayed Croff’s mother. Both Croff and her mother were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries. Police say additional arrests are possible.
