Charles R. “Chuck” Duncan, Sr. 72, of Dix, Illinois passed away at 7:47 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at his residence in Dix, Illinois. He was born Tuesday, January 2, 1945 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to parents, Edward A. and Irene B. (Davis) Duncan.  He married Christina (Reynolds) Duncan on August 20, 1988 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with 28 years of marriage. A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Grace Community Church located at 14769 Illinois Route 37 Mount Vernon, Illinois.  A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Grace Community Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Pastor David Fields and Pastor Jason Newell officiating.  Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Grace Community Church or the Jefferson County Animal Shelter and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O.
