MOUNT VERNON — Mt. Vernon police arrested a 60-year-old Bonnie woman early Tuesday morning on multiple felony charges.

Pamela Dickens was taken to the Jefferson County Jail on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, armed violence, driving while never being issued a license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine.

Dickens was formally charged Tuesday in Jefferson County Court with Class X felony armed violence, Class 3 felony possession of less than 5 grams of meth, Class 4 felony unlawful use of a vehicle as a weapon, and was cited for driving without a license.

Prosecutors filed a motion to deny Dickens a pretrial release. A hearing on that matter is scheduled for Thursday, while a preliminary hearing on the criminal charges is scheduled for October 31.
