Colton Gale Lancaster, beloved son of Hunter Lancaster and Elizabeth Venters, went to be with the Lord at 6:40 am May 14, 2021 at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. Colton was born December 27, 2019 in Mount Vernon and laughed and smiled throughout his 16 months and 18 days on earth, bringing joy and happiness to everyone he touched. In addition to his parents, Colton is survived by his sister, Ariel Lancaster; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Violet Houseworth; paternal grandparents, Lance Lancaster and Tracy Crawford; great-grandparents, David and Sue Houseworth; and Godparents, Dillan Nowakowski and Spring Sexton. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:30 am at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois with Pastor David Houseworth officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Colton’s honor to the Lancaster Family, in care of Elizabeth Venters or Hunter Lancaster. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time.
