James C. Whitfield, 76, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at December 29, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was born April 22, 1944 in Ridgley, Tennessee to the late Rice Whitfield and Geneva (Evans)Whitfield. James married Angela (Glasper) Whitfield on March 24, 1989 in and she survives in Mount Vernon. Private Services will be held and cremation will follow.
