Chester “Ed” Edwin Cooper, 82, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 11:45 am December 9, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was born September 9, 1938 in Jefferson County, Illinois to the late Chester Leon and Venita (Sumner) Cooper.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Harmony Cemetery in Mount Vernon.

A Graveside Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Merle Fullerton officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Ed’s honor to Harmony Cemetery.
