Raymond “Ed” E. Loyd, 90, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 6:45 am October 4, 2020 at Nature Trail Health Care in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born May 19, 1930 in Wayne County, Illinois to the late Leonard  and Ruby (Bailey) Loyd. Ed married Goldie Belle (Butler) Loyd on December 26, 1951 and she preceded him in death.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM  with Mr. Don Bullard officiating. Full Military Rites will be held by Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 at Ten Post Oak Cemetery in Keenes, Illinois. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Ed’s honor to the American Heart Association.Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. We are limited to 50 people in our building at a time.
