Marvin Kenneth Heise, 88, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 12:20 am August 20, 2020 at Mount Vernon Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born June 30, 1932 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri to the late Albert J. and Amanda Mae (Scheniman) Heise. Marvin married Anna Marie (Schreckenberg) Heise on December 28, 1953 in Jackson, Mississippi. They were blessed with nearly forty-three years of marriage before she preceded him in death on November 6, 1996.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Smith Cemetery in Belle Rive, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Matt Richardt officiating. Full Military Rites will be held at the cemetery. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Marvin’s honor to Faith Lutheran Church.
