SALINE COUNTY — Preliminary hearings are set this week for three people accused of concealing the death of an Eldorado man reported missing in May.

42-year-old Troy D. Gwaltney, 30-year-old Richard H. Emerson, and 22-year-old Toria L. Emerson, all of Eldorado, each face one count of concealing a homicidal death, a Class 3 Felony, in the death of 32-year-old Chase Mitchell of Eldorado.

Toria Emerson’s hearing is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m. in Saline County Court. Richard Emerson and Troy Gwaltney’s hearings are set for 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Saline County Court.

Each person faces between two and five years in prison if convicted.

The body of Mitchell was found in Gallatin County on June 9th. The three were arrested in connection with the homicide less than three days later.
