HARRISBURG — The Harrisburg Public Library District has been named a recipient of the “Live & Learn” grant given out through the Illinois Secretary of State’s and State Librarian’s office.
The library will receive just over $11,000 for flooring upgrades for the library’s downstairs conference area.
The library’s director Krystal Gulley says the upgrades will improve the experience in a frequently used part of the library.
Gulley says the library may not have been able to take on this project without the grant money.
