Fred N. Young, 89, of Texico, Illinois, passed away at 2:05 pm June 16, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born May 31, 1931 in Bluford, Illinois to the late Robert S. “Tiny” and Lou (Maxey) Young. Fred married Betty (Chambliss) Young on August 17, 1952 in Marlow, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly 68 years of marriage.A Visitation will be held Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Oakdale Cemetery in Bluford, Illinois. A Graveside Service will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend. John Ashby officiating. Interment will follow.
