Darrell Lee Blakey, 68, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 12:04 am April 6, 2020 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born October 20, 1951 in Highland, Illinois to the late Charles and Rosella (Hodge) Blakey. Darrell married Debra Shelton Blakey on December 9, 2000.

Private Services will be held. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Darrell’s honor to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation and will be received at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
