Paul Lee Bernard, 81, of Belle Rive passed away Friday morning, August 3, 2018.

He was born in Jefferson County, Illinois on September 16, 1936, the son of Paul & Erma Lee (Wangler) Bernard. He married Gay Nell (Wilson) Bernard on August 7, 1955 and she preceded him in death on April 15, 1996.

He loved Shirley’s Shuttle Bus Trips. He enjoyed working and loved to farm. He had a good work ethic. He attended the Ina Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Bernard was preceded in death by his Parents & Wife.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 7th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Bro. Brad Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery in Belle RIve. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
